海南雞飯Hainanese Chicken Rice

這一家生意特旺,旁邊一家則餵蚊子,冷冷清清!
Hainese Chicken Rice also regards as ‘national dish’ for Singaporean, it can be found in every street corner coffeeshop in Singapore.The original recipe came from Hainan, China, it has evolved to become the delicious Singaporean dish it is today.The stall at Batu 7 is a nice one, strongly recommended.

永和豆漿Yung Ho Tou Chiang

每次到台灣,衛理總會的秘書盧琳姐一定安排有一天早上會去嚐永和豆漿。
  永和豆漿泛指台灣台北縣永和市頂溪一帶以販賣豆漿為主的早餐店,約1950年左右,由一群先後由中國遷至台灣的人士創立。其中最著名的為中正橋頭的“世界豆漿”。
  Yung Ho Tou Chiang is a must visit restaurant for the past few visits to Taiwan. Arranged by executive secretary Ms Ann Lu, The Methodist Church in Taiwan,WFCMC communication subcom had a good communication while we were eating the nice soya bean and the fluffy dough sticks, a very specialty of Taiwan style breakfast.

  據悉,永和豆漿的風潮始於台灣的中華少棒隊在美國的世界少棒錦標賽打出好成績,由於時差,台灣觀眾看完棒球賽往往已經接近清晨,而最早開門的早餐店為永和豆漿,人們漸漸開始習慣看完棒球比賽後去吃永和豆漿。
  商標權
  1985年,當時從事仲介業的林炳生,將永和豆漿註冊為商標,並在台北市士林區創立“永和豆漿店”,並以機械化量產豆漿,提供濃縮豆漿銷往早餐店、麵包店、學校、超級市場等,只要加水稀釋便可成為豆漿。1999年“永和豆漿”推廣到中國大陸,第一家開在上海浦東地區。

回到原味!Back to the oringinal taste!

  阿全(黃敬全,原詩巫人,現居沙巴亞庇)回來詩巫時,就說一定要吃乾麵,要買光餅等。
  在下建議去梅松咖啡店,因為乾麵是用豬油拌的,原味原汁,香味撲鼻,未吃先流口水......
  圖示梅松的阿姆在撈乾麵時影,現在很多乾麵都用一般生油,沒有用豬油了!
Ah Chuong came back from Sabah, he is looking something with homeland flavor.So we went to Mui Sung Kopitiam at Sibu waterfront.You can't stand with the lard(pig oil) pleasant smell......

阿姆還親自製的肉丸仔湯,真好喫!你來梅松時,一定要另外order肉丸湯,否則只是普通的清湯!
Order extra Pork ball soup will let your Kampua taste better!

久久來一盤豬油拌的乾麵,吃了......那種滿足感,真不是文字所能形容的!
Once a while, we try to order Kampua with lard, good for the beautify skin(黑斑);
but the most important reason is the original homeland flavor!

儍瓜乾麵


  去台灣吃風,卻因為太太生病陪她住進台北的耕薪醫院三天三院,在下每天就在醫院找吃!
  醫院的附近,每排店都有好多間的各類吃食店,不像詩巫的咖啡店,有吃的有飲料,他們是分開來的!
  每天來回巡邏,一直抬頭研究招牌,有些不想吃,有些搞不懂名堂,高級的恐怕荷包負擔不起,一天中午看到“儍瓜乾麵”,眼前一亮,登堂入室,order一盤試試看!
  在下如許多詩巫人一樣,對詩巫乾麵有特別的情結,去國幾天就懷念乾麵,十足一個鄉土儍瓜啦!一個人在台北吃乾麵,雖然與家鄉不一樣,但基本上還是有點味道......解解嘴饞!
